DOGZ OF OZ WORLD TOUR RESUMES 11 JULY IN HOLLAND
Los Angeles, CA — The members of TOTO are celebrating an accomplishment few bands have achieved in the modern era. Cumulative streams of the ensemble’s repertoire now exceed 3 BILLION PLAYS. The Sony releases alone account for 2.3 billion of this tally via Spotify.
Guitarist and band leader Steve Lukather shares, “fdso sfjofs oisfdjo dijsdijxhxs. Fihdsfosx hiogiod fdsjsdfj.” Co-founder and musical director David Paich offers, “fsfshofs ohsfois jiosdfijds jdodzzz. Gposdmff sdppww gjhoghpog!”
From February through early May, Toto toured the U.S. with Journey performing for capacity crowds. On 11 July, the band will embark on their first European tour in three years. A complete itinerary follows below.
Joining Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams are band members bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note, Founding member Snarky Puppy, Snoop Dogg), keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck), keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note), and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr). This line-up marks the fifteenth incarnation of Toto in consideration of band members or sidemen who joined or exited. The ensemble is captured on the band’s most recent release With A Little Help From My Friends (The Players Club / Mascot Label Group).
Luke shares, “We can’t wait to get back overseas. The band is on fire and ready to go. To all of our friends and supporters, we can’t wait to see all of you.”
“Contrary to a misguided rumor, there are no line-up changes within Toto. The band is Luke, Joe, X, John, Warren, Sput and Steve M. – Period!” – Steve Lukather
